Applying best practices to maximize human potential!
We at KM Human Factors Engineering believe that employees are the most valuable assets of a company. We aim to maximize the potential of health and safety systems in ‘high risk industries’ by introducing highly effective human factors innovations. By applying Night Fit productivity, safety, health, and morale are enhanced.
Our Industries
We provide solutions for the following ‘high risk’ industries.
Offshore industry
Safety is of paramount importance to the offshore industry. All major offshore companies aim to achieve an incident and accident-free working environment. Night Fit is an effective tool to further increase performance and safety.
Oil & Gas industry
The oil and gas industry is classed as a major hazards industry. Hence, ensuring the safety and integrity of its assets is paramount. Night Fit is an effective tool to further increase process safety levels in this industry.
Military industry
We introduced the Night Fit method to a Force Protection squad at the Dutch Air Force Base Volkel. In collaboration with the Centre for Man and Aviation (CML) the Night Fit method will be evaluated in Africa.
Aerospace industry
The past two decades NASA has successfully provided a special form of light treatment to their shift work crew. We have complemented and adjusted this method into a compressive solution for the offshore industry.
Maritime industry
In the maritime industry up to 23% of collisions and groundings are caused by extreme personnel fatigue levels. This makes managing shift work fatigue a top priority in the maritime and logistic industry.
Finance industry
Night Fit increases sleep quality, limiting the chances of exhaustion and burnouts. Improving sleep quality will – after the first night – increase the focus and concentration of personnel thus helping them to make those split second decisions.
